Family Day

Tomorrow we are going to have a little fun hanging out together. The boys all have haircuts scheduled for the morning and then we're going to go to Irvine Spectrum for a few hours. I don't know what it is about that place, but we always have the best time. Maybe it's because it's outside? Speaking of outside, I hope the weather stays nice like today! Any ways......I have my coupons ready for shopping! I the Old Navy "Stuff the bag" deal, and Borders 20% and then a free lotion for Bath & Body. And then an early dinner at the Yard House or Cheescake Factory. Yummy! I'm planning on getting this at Borders

Oh, that's blurry. I got my travel guide for Maui from the Visitor Bureau today. I cannot believe we're just a little over 2 months away to going! Ryan leaves for Baltimore early Sunday so I thought it would be nice to just hang out for the day and be home early to watch Juno. We haven't seen it yet, but everyone that has said it's great!

A whole week

Went to the mall today with a friend of mine and she bought this

Finally an update!

I have been so busy lately that I have ignored my blog! I'll try to recap;

Last Saturday we left for my Grandma's in Palm Desert for 4 days. My aunt & cousins were here visiting from Washington and it's always a good time when they come into town! Sunday was my grandma's birthday. Had dinner at Las Casuelas Nuevas, which I highly reccommend if you're in the Palm Desert area. Their food is soooo good!

We swam a lot and shopped alot. There is something about being out there that I can shop so much better!

Got home Tuesday and I did tons of laundry on Wednesday!

Yesterday we spent the whole day at Disneyland. Thank you Jenn for signing some of my family in! There were 8 of us! And Disney was packed! My grandma may never go again, so I'm glad I got to spend the day with her. She really enjoyed herself and called me today to let me know again how much she enjoyed the day.

Tomorrow I have an all day crop at work that I'm half working and cropping. Then on Sunday I have make & takes planned out all day. Should be a fun weekend! Have a great one.

We're back. It's nice to be here. My neck hurts from sleeping on the pull out sofa and from the little 4 yr old that kicked me all night :) More blog stuff tomorrow and pictures, it's late and time for Big Brother!

Oh Hawaii.....

This has been an excruciating 36 hours of trying to find the best deal and there just isn't one out there. At least not one like we had gotten. But alas! We are still going. My girlfriend Debby got royally screwed, she and her 2 kids were to leave tomorrow morning on ATA. They are really sad, but have decided to go later in the year. I couldn't believe it when she called yesterday. I knew she was going, just couldn't remember when. So today she's planned something else for them to do next week. She said she's still going to an island, just not a tropical one! Funny....
She's going to Catalina for a few days. Have fun Debby, Alexa and Anthony!

We're supposed to go to my Grandma's this weekend to visit with my aunt & cousins, but Austin has this major book report due. aarrrgh..... so we're just gonna have to see how far he can get tonight on it. Maybe we'll get to go late tomorrow. Have a great weekend!

After countless phone calls and finally getting through to my bank, our money will be refunded in 7 days. Now I need to find new tickets, which seem to cost a lot more! Ugh. Day 2

Ryan & I decided to follow WW points until next week when he's back and I'm not out of town. Well actually, we're going to do it until July, but just to get a kick start this is what we're doing and what we came up with. There are about 15 weeks until our trip, approx. 3 months. We both plan on losing 15lbs by then. 1 pound a week or about 5 per month. That is doable. So yesterday went really well and today is too. I know if we just stay focused we can do it! Gotta get into that bikini for Hawaii :)

It's really interesting. I've caught the first two episodes on HBO Demand. I like Blair Underwoods character so far. Gonna try and watch more while Ryan is out of town.

My other guilty pleasure show is BigBrother I have been watching it for years. It's amazing to see how people interact when they are stuck living together with no tv, no radio, no music, nothing to read......it's just fascinating sometimes.

Back to school

We are dragging.......so tired this morning. Thankfully Ryan has a meeting with a vendor locally and he was able to help out by taking Austin to school today. Now to take Zach to school shortly.
I'm starting my version of Weight Watchers today at home, keeping track of points on my own. Ryan and I want to sign up together, but he leaves tomorrow for NJ for a few days, so we're waiting to start when he gets back. With our trip a few months away we are getting more and more motivated. I might even go for a walk today! Ugh. It's a love/hate relationship with food & exercise. I love food, I hate exercising. I love the results I get from exercising, I hate giving up sweets. But I know it's what needs to be done. Food has been my comfort and friend for the last 2 months. So many ups and downs over the last two months. Thankfully I've only gained 4 1/2 pounds, I thought it was more like 10!

Last Day of Spring Break

I'm a little sad, but happy they'll be returning to school Monday. OH MY GOSH THE FIGHTING IS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!! On to happier random things...


I got a CD for Christmas and never opened it until recently because I thought it was a new release and then found out it was a "Greatest Hits" CD. Well, I already have all their CD's so why do I need a "Greatest Hits?" Let me tell you, if you love or even just like the Goo-Goo Dolls go get this CD! Seriously it is the BEST "GREATEST HITS" CD I have! Ok, so I only have a few others like this, but this is the best one! Every song is amazing. I uploaded some songs of theirs to my sidebar playlist. Seriously, check it out!



Look who has new glasses! Austin is far sided? I can't remember. When he looks up from reading it's blurry and hard for his eyes to adjust so he needs them for reading so he'll have to wear them in class and while doing homework. He looks so mature and handsome with them on.

Our Hawaii trip is just a little over 3 months away! I can't believe it! It seemed so far away when we planned it back in November and now here we are.

Have I ever told you about my cousin Elizabeth and how talented she is? Well, she is 15 and just about 6feet tall and has been playing basketball since she was nine. The girl has a gift. Her goal in life is to play for WNBA. I don't doubt that she won't. She's been scouted for years and just got her first offer from a division 3 school in Oregon. She turned it down. She's 15 and a freshman!!! Can you believe this? I totally believe she'll play professionally, she has the drive and focus. Unfortunately my aunt & uncle live in Washington and I haven't gotten to see her play. She's coming out in July for a tournament and I'm really excited to see her in action.

Weight Watchers. I think I've gotten the subliminal messages, perhaps I'll be joining you Monday morning at 9:30.

I'm scrapping tonight, always look forward to that. I put my NY album together while I was at my Grandma's and I need just a few more layouts to finish. After all this time I'm almost done!

Thursday

Wanted to share some photos from our visit from my Grandma's. The boys participated in a golf and tennis clinic. They loved it! I forgot to send Austin's meds with Ryan on Friday so I guess the kid ate so much Saturday he made himself sick. I decided not to give him his meds for a few days to fatten him up. God knows he needs it. He gained 4lbs! He's now 66lbs. I know he's still so skinny, but we're trying to get him back to what he was before the surgery, a whole 68lbs.

My Grandma's chemo treatment is working! Her tumors have shrunk by half! This is such good news. Today I have laundry to catch up on and some projects for work I need to tend to. We're having a 12 hour crop on the 12th and then a big crop for NSD that I'm hosting! I'm really excited. Also, we'll be launching a QK club here pretty quick that I'm running. I'm nervous, but excited for the challenge. Watch our newsletter for the info! Now for some pics....

Spring Break!

Yeah!!! Austin & Zach are officially on spring break and guess what??? They are gone with Ryan at my Grandma's right now! I have to work tomorrow so they headed out tonight. The boys are taking golf & tennis lessons tomorrow and then there is a BBQ and a Carnival at my Grandma's country club. I'm so bummed I'm going to miss it, hopefully Ryan will put my scrappy hat on and take some pictures.
My Grandma has a chemo appt Monday and I'm taking her and thought we should stay some extra days. We'll find out Monday if it's working. I'll be home Tues or Wed.
Nothing exciting planned for our vacation. Maybe catching up on sleep and scrapbooking. That's what I should be doing now, but I'm playing online, uploading photos and layouts.

Not much going on today. Just trying to pick up and clean before we leave to go out of town to my Grandma's for a few days. Austin & Zachary's spring break is next week. I'm looking forward to a little sleeping in! We'll be coloring eggs today after school, that's always a fun mess.

Target Finds!

I spent about 2 hours in Target today and the first spot I hit is the dollar spot! They have some great stuff! The girl was putting it out and I just hung around until she was done. Look at the cute summer stuff! And an acrylic block for a buck! It's not real heavy, but I could keep it in my Tote-alley! Then I was checking out and the girl in front of me had the Cropper Hopper Page Planners and they rang up $1.62! I ran out of line and picked those up and the red glitter chipboard for $1.98!

And just look at the Curious George stuff. Super cute. I'm really sick of Star Wars, so I was happy that Zachary wanted some new art stuff.

Happy St. Patty's Day!

We're not Irish, but it is fun to wear green for the day. We're going to my mom's for dinner....cornbeef and NOT cabbage. My sister came into town last week and tonight she takes the red eye back to NY. It was a quick trip because she spent 2 days with her friend who got married over the weekend. I thought the wedding was Saturday so I had made plans to be gone all day, then found out it was Friday and she just hung out all day. Bummer. But I'll see her in October!

Speaking of October and NYC......none of the Broadway shows are booking that far in advance. It looks like they are only putting 6 months out to book. I want to see the Little Mermaid, Young Frankenstein and maybe Legally Blonde. We're going to see three shows this time, so we might not all agree on what to see. ;)

Did you know that California Adventures has a NEW parade? They revamped their "Block Party" parade and now it's all Pixar movies parade. It is SO MUCH FUN! Warning though......YOU WILL GET WET! So I suggest you go on a warm day or be prepared. My friend got a big squirt to the face and she was holding her camera, thank goodness it didn't do any damage. Even though she was pretty peeved......she still loved the parade! Here are some shots I managed to take:

I can't sleep this morning. I've been awake for over an hour. Whenever I wake up to use the bathroom it's so hard to fall back asleep. And because I guess I was noisey, I woke Zach up. I managed to get him to fall back asleep on the sofa. So I'm sitting at the computer in the dark trying to be quiet.

I have a hair appt in 2 hours, I soooo need my haircut and colored and cannot wait. Spending the rest of the day with my girlfriend Sandra scrapping. I haven't seen her in a month, it should be a fun day! Have a great Saturday!!!

Family

Yesterday's blurb was about one of my brothers. Being the oldest of 5 definitely has it's hardships. Higher standards and expectations to live up to. I'll put this as nicely as possible, he has completely f***ed up his life and I don't know if he truly realizes it. I have so many emotions about what has transpired; ANGER, frustration, sadness, pure heartache and confusion. I wonder sometimes why siblings (and people for that matter) act and do the things they do. I wonder if there is even a way we are all related? We grew up in the same house. The rules were definitely harder for me and the expectations. Ugh, it just sucks. I wish I could rewind life to the begining of February and just let it all start over.

When it rains it pours......

doesn't it sometimes seem as though that is how life is going? Just about every time you turn around WHAM! something else is or has happened. I don't even know if I want to put it out there because it's so upsetting. Why is it that some people feel as though they are invincible and don't understand the choices they are making affect their loved ones just as much? Don't they understand when you do bad things there are severe consequences? I have been feeling really sad and feeling pulled down for about the last month. So many things have flipped upside down in my world. I try to put my happy face on, but inside I'm torn up and confused. I believe I am a happy person with a great outlook on life, always trying to be optimistic, but sometimes I just need to be a bitter pessimist. So enough with my rant.....here are some happy moments from Zachary's little party he had with his school friends yesterday.

He really had a great time and I'm glad I finally pulled it together and had a party for him. He turned 4 back on Valentine's Day and with life's mishaps.....I haven't had the energy or time to pull a party together. I highly recommend having a morning party a Chuck E Cheese. There was nobody there! So worth it. This guy is growing too quickly.

He (Zachary) said something this morning that just made me smile. After his party I went over to the Scrappin Table and visited with Tiffany for about 20 minutes. They have a train table and he loved it!. This morning while I'm getting him in the car he asked if we could go back to the Scrappin Table so he could play with the trains. I'm shocked he remembered the name of the store! Looks like we'll have to visit again soon!

I hope we never have to experience that again. He lost so much weight. He's super skinny to begin with, but now he's too thin. He's doing so good now. Still favoring that side. This Friday there is no school so we're going to Disneyland for a mellow day trip. He told me he can't ride fast rides. We may have to get a wheel chair because he can't walk too long. Well, I hope he can enjoy it!

Great Success!

The garage sale was such a huge hit! This garage sale I made the most ever! There were people shopping my stuff as I was walking in the door at 11:15 asking, "whatchya got?" That was really cool that they were so excited. The first two hours flu by! By 2pm I really didn't have much left, good for me but I still had a few more hours to hang out. I bought one big thing, a Crop In Style XXL for twenty bucks! It's in great shape. My big rolling bag is by Creative Memories and is so heavy and is more of just a BOX than an organizer on wheels. I'm a scrapper on the go.....unfortunately I don't have a room or even a space to just spread out so I need great organizing bags that I can use at home and at crops. After the sale was over, there was announcement about a womens shelter that would love anything you don't want. How perfect! I kept a small box of stuff that didn't sell and gave the rest away. In fact, everyone did and they collected about 6 big boxes of stuff! I'll do some shopping tomorrow, I had to leave because Ryan had a night planned with the guys and the kids and I are going to watch thisWow, that is super blurry. Well, I'm waiting for Austin (my sloooooow poke) to get out of the shower, we'll probably have to finish up tomorrow.

March 1st

I felt like I had cabin fever yesterday and knew that today I needed to get out of the house. I ran errands and went to Target, Michaels and the Scrapping Table. It was nice to see Jenn & Michelle and catch up. They had already got the Teresa Collins papers in and I'm trying to put together the mini book she demo'ed at CHA for a make & take at the Bee when we get our papers in. I needed two sheets to complete it. Then we had promised Austin he could finally get his PSP. He's been saving his money and had enough to buy it and one game. I bought the carrying case and a second game. He deserved it after being such a strong boy during & after his surgery. Well, we have some movies for tonight and tomorrow, Michael Clayton and Eastern Promises. I've been waiting to see Micheal Clayton, heard great reviews! I'll be at work tomorrow, have a great Sunday!

for emailing, posting and calling me about Austin. He is doing so much better. Tired and sore today. By Sunday I'm sure he's going to have cabin fever. I expect he'll go back to school on Tuesday. The doctor said no school until after we see him, which is Monday.

Quick Update

Austin ending up having an appendicitis and having his appendix out yesterday morning. I've been at the hospital with him since Monday night. He's doing well and is coming home later today. I ran home to take a quick shower and get some fresh air.

My exciting news will have to wait. It's scrapbooking related for all that were thinking something else........ :)

Exciting News!

So with all this personal garbage going on in my life, I have something SO exciting to share. Unfortunately, it's gonna have to wait til tomorrow. Austin is at the emergency room with Ryan. Major stomach pains and doubled over crying. I'm worried and can't get it altogether to post yet. But it's so exciting! Watch for it tomorrow!

I know that last post has a lot of people confused. There have been a lot of confusing things going on in my life with people I trusted immensely, only to find out everything isn't what it seems. Just remember that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all, because unlike the saying, "sticks and stones"...... words do hurt.

Consider yourself warned....

I saw this on a friend's blog sometime ago and when I saw it I thought, "wow, what could have happened? Those are such strong words." I get it now.

I'm really struggling with accepting certain people and situations in my life. It's two steps forward and one step back. I'm annoyed and find myself turning colder to them. Big Bear

We went to Big Bear this last weekend for a much needed vacation. With having worked/attended CHA for 5 days in a row and then some personel stuff bothering me, I needed this rest. It wasn't as cold as I expected it to be. The days really seemed rather warm. I guess when you're all bundled up and the sun is shining down on you, it seems "hot". Low 50's for the day and about 27 degrees at night.

Austin & Ryan took ski lessons on Sunday. I really don't have much interest in learning, plus its very expensive and I already have an expensive hobby! They had an amazing time. I wish I had photos to share of them. Ryan took the "Flip" but said since his balance was so shaky he didn't want to break our new little toy. We mostly played in the snow, watched movies, played games and ate. By "watch" movies I mean watch Stars Wars over and over again. Zachary is obessesed with it. So I have some pics to share and video. Unfortunately I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked too. *the pictures will have to wait, the video is taking forever to upload*

I also just read on Erika's http://erikap.typepad.com/ blog that she was in Big Bear too! I wish I would have known ahead of time, we could have met up!

The kids have been shuttling between the grandma's, so it seems to be working out ok. I miss them. You never really realize how great it is to stay home until you go and work all day for 3 or 4 days straight!

Zachary turns 4 on Thursday. It's a little bitter sweet. My baby is getting so big! Well I'm off to bed. Goodnight!

Healthy

We're all back to our healthy selves. Thank God. I was really sick of being sick and taking care of sick people. Yesterday was our first day back on our "normal" routine. I was exhausted by 7pm. Zach tried skipping a nap, but that didn't work. I think everyone is back into the swing of life today.

Here is a little clip of Austin in the Running Long Jump. He placed 4th out of all the 4th grade boys jumping 8.6 feet! He placed 2nd in the Standing Jump, jumping 7.1 feet! I think he might have a career here. I'm really proud of him.

I'm really looking forward to CHA. It starts Saturday and finishes up on Wednesday and then Friday we leave for Big Bear. I'm a little overwhelmed about our mini-vacation-I have NOTHING for the snow! Today I was on Ebay looking at boots and ski bibs. Hopefully I can get some stuff here in the next week!

It seemed like we'd never make a turn for the better! Last night is the first night in 4 nights that everyone slept the entire night! I'm feeling SO much better. I'm just sneezing and have a lot of congestion in my head, but that is 100% better than the last few days. Ryan doesn't look like death any more and Austin is doing fine. Zachary is having a heck of a time shaking off his fever. He has decided to not take medicine any more and when I approach him he starts to hyperventalate and gag and cry and choke and then proceed to throw up. Isn't that lovely? After I posted last night saying no one had thrown up, he puked all over the computer chair and the floor. It doesn't matter what I say to assure him that he'll be ok, he freaks out! I actually disguised the medicine in some juice and it was like he knew. Today he pulled the same drama and then after I got him to take it he said, "that's not so bad." Poor baby. I'm not trying to poison him. Ryan will be home tomorrow. It's nice that the two sickies can lay around together because I actually got some (minor) cleaning done and pulled out my scrapbooking stuff! I never have time to scrap at home!

I'm very grateful for my mother in law this week. She has really helped us out immensely. Bringing us groceries and some home cooked meals. Thank god for our Bah-Ba. (it's a nickname Zachary gave her as a baby)

Austin is competing on Saturday morning in a Track and Field event. All the 4th, 5th and 6th graders in our district will compete. He's really excited. Though it's at 8:30 in the morning, it should be a good time! He'll be doing the "Running Long Jump" and the "Standing Broad Jump".

Still sick

in fact it seems like we're all a little worse today. The boys have bronchitis. Ryan the same. I'm trying to convince him to go back to the doctors because I think after 48 hours on antibotics he should sound somewhat better. Me...just running the course of the flu. Thankfully no throwing up.

Working on a Mission report. Not happy. Was told that we'd be told ahead of time of deadlines. That didn't happen and Austin's outline is due tomorrow. I only found out yesterday. Now I'm being called upon to go play Nick Jr. Bye for now.

Sick again!

My whole family is sick. Man is it miserable. Austin started with a cough last week and had a 103 fever over the weekend. Ryan had a really bad cough/cold last weekend and it carried through to this past weekend. He has some sort of bronchial infection. Zachary & I are coughing and running fevers and achey. I couldn't even hardly get out of bed yesterday. Just too tired. Austin was kind of better, but I thought, "what's one more day of rest?" So he and Zach missed school. Austin went today, but he was not happy. I hate being sick. I guess because I hardly ever get sick and now twice in about 2 months! Well I'm off to rest......

A Layout to share

I did this one the other night. I love it. The colors are so vibrant and just perfect! This is last New Years Eve. This year we just stayed home. It is a scraplift of my internet friend, Ms. Leslie Ashe. I just love her style. Anyhoo....this is my take of one of her layouts.

I'm really excited that CHA is in about 19 days! The sneak peeks keep rolling in. So excited! The weekend after CHA we're going to Big Bear with my parents and little brother. We were supposed to borrow a cabin from my mom's friend, but that didn't work out and now we're renting one. Can't wait! I was really surprised to see that there were A LOT available to rent. I think people are under the impression since all the fires there wouldn't be rentals or that it would be expensive. So not the case. So if you're interested, totally check it out! I can't wait...I know I already said that, but I haven't been to the snow since Austin was 3 and he'll be 10 on Friday!

Back to my laundry. I've been working on it all day........I just can't seem to get it done!

I mentioned back in December that we got Austin the "Flip" video camera. I'm trying to see if it's going to work here. Cross your fingers. It's nothing exciting. Just a great tool to share stuff.

I worked yesterday and today. Busy, busy. There must be a lot of people in the Valentine mood. I did a TON of make & takes yesterdays. Non stop busy from 12-4. Valentine Cards and a Treat Bag. Very cute stuff. Today I helped with a birthday party at the Bee. How fun! The girls made the magnetic boards and 3 bracelets. I wish they had fun stuff like this when I was 11. Ryan was off so it made it possible for me to help out.

Austin's 10th Birthday is Friday. We're just going to Dave & Busters with our family and his closest friend. I told them they could each have a "loaded" game card. Hopefully they won't burn through it too fast! Then he'll spend the night and I promised to take the boys to breakfast. They are really excited. Saturday is an all day crop at the Bee. I really need to get organized and plan out some stuff so I don't just sit there chit chatting. Though that is fun too!

Ugh. This video is taking too long to upload. YEAH!!! It worked!

Procratinating

That's what I'm doing right now. I'm working on our budget for the next month and it's stressing me out! I have to put a certain amount of money away for Hawaii and I opened up 2 credit accounts at the holidays to get all the extra discounts and now I'm trying to make everything balance. I've eaten horrible today because of my nerves. On the up side I did exercise twice this week and am planning on going again Friday. That keeps me in check.

Did you watch American Idol last night? The tryouts are the best. I'm on the countdown until Jan 31st. LOST is back on. I cannot wait! Well I better run, Zachary is finger painting and in his underwear and Austin is supposed to be doing homework and he is MIA.

Oh and yes Heather, I will be at the Bee on Friday night to crop. :)

Sunday

I have to work today and it looks like a nice day. I think I rather be outside at the park :)
I'm teaching a magnetic board make & take. Super easy and really cute.
Speaking of projects, I realized I have about 6 mini books/projects I've started and not really ever finished. Why is that? Why do I take these classes or buy these kits and don't complete them? I really need to finish them up because they are super cute. Michelle from the Scrappin Table said that she's offering a morning Coffee Break type crop from 9-1 on Wednesday mornings. That might be the perfect time to get these projects caught up because I'm already itching to start new ones and Zachary is at school. Speaking of the Scrapping Table, it was nice to see some familiar faces and visit with Michelle. We used to crop once a month at Placentia Linda Hospital until they started doing construction. So that group was dismantled and I haven't really seen everyone in sometime. Well, off to get ready for work. Have a nice Sunday, it sure is beautiful outside!

We bought our tickets yesterday! Big sigh of relief. I have to tell you Ryan had me frantic the other day. He went on Expedia and said there were only 10 seats left for this really inexpensive flight! Yikes!!! Well.....after more research, that's all they had left, there were really about 80 or seats left. We're flying on ATA. They are inexpensive. and think along the lines of Southwest. Oh well, it's not about the ride there. Everyone else was a good $150 more per ticket.

It looks like the CHA sneak peeks have been rolling in. Karen has gotten some and let me see, but I found a site that has A LOT of sneak peeks! Oh man....good stuff!

I stopped by the Scrappin' Table today. http://thescrappintable.blogspot.com/ It looks good and can't wait to see the store come along. It was really nice to chat with Tiffany. Usually when I run into other "scrappers" I only have but a minute to talk. I'll be joining them tomorrow night for a crop. It's hard not going to the Bee, but my girlfriend is going and just doesn't want to drive so far after being at work all day. So I'll miss seeing my "regular" scrappin' buddies Friday night, but will be at The Bee on Sunday!

Waiting.....

I'm waiting for Ryan to call me so we can finally book our airline tickets to Hawaii! {gulp} We keep missing one another and playing phone tag and tonight he has a dinner. I had to go transfer money today from our savings so we can pay cash for these tickets! That is such a great feeling. Nothing exciting today. Just the "normal" stuff going on. Zachary did come home with red frosting stained on his lips, cheeks and fingers. Why on earth would you send red frosted cupcakes to school??? I think I'm pretty easy going about what the kids eat......but red frosting? I try to stay away from red food coloring for the kids. Then his teacher....bless her heart. She had two parents show up with cupcakes for birthdays today. She had to let them eat two. Zachary came home with all his lunch, though he did manage to eat a 1/4 of his sandwich! Oh well, you're only 4 once!

The Night before.....

everyone goes back to school! Yeah!!! I really like being on a routine, it just works for me. I've felt so scatter brained for the last two weeks. I can't remember what day it is half the time. Plus the routine means I get "me" time again. Time to exercise, time to shower uniterrupted, time to shop without someone asking if I would pleeeeeeeeeeeeease buy this or that, time to put the toys away. I enjoyed the break, and the kids being home, but it's time to be back on a routine.

I worked today and I taught this;

I made this for a make and take. It actually goes through June. I just don't have the pics for it. Super easy and it's only$12. So worth the money and so far everyone that has made it has really enjoyed doing it. You don't have to have pictures, but it helps. I'm demo'ing this again next Sunday. Come by and see me!

Tomorrow I'm planning on taking pictures of my Christmas layouts that I've made to share. These are from last Christmas. I'm exactly 1 year behind in my scrapbooking. On the 26th the Bee is having an all day crop, which I hope to go to, which I hope to finish last Christmas and my NY album. Austin's 10th Birthday is on the 25th. Not sure what he wants to do yet, but I would like to have an evening birthday party on the 25th.

Winding down

I can't believe the holiday break is almost over. I'm not ready to get back to the morning stress and homework woes. Deep breathes. Today I have to drive out to Palm Desert to go get Austin. I need to leave in about 30 minutes. That's going to take up almost the whole day. Yuck.
I was thinking about going to Disneyland tomorrow, but it looks like rain if forecasted. :( That stinks. I'd take the kids to a movie, but my Grandma took Austin to all the kid movies this week! Lucky boy. Oh, maybe Hullabaloos! I'll find out if their open and let some friends know if their interested in meeting up. They've been doing open play time during the week.
