Friendship

Friendship is something that everyone has in their lives. Whether its old friends, new friends, work friends or school friends....everyone has friends of some sort. I've had some interesting relationships with friends over the years. Old friends coming back into my life and reconnecting, new friends that we became close really quick and are inseparable, and some that ended because of differing opinions and some that just never stuck for no particular reason. I consider a lot of people my friends. I don't argue with my friends, I don't bicker.....I feel as though your friends are to lift you up, share stories and laugh. Not bring you down. When I don't feel that a friendship is working for me, I won't confront them. I don't like confrontation. I tend to just let it fizzle out. Because of my past experiences I had to see a counselor to understand why I attract the type of friend that I do. She said I'm a good listener and not judgemental. That I want to "fix" or help that person and that's why I tend to attract the type of friend that is needing more of my attention. The friendship becomes one sided....I'm the ear....always listening, wanting to help. Since these counseling sessions a few years ago I'm very cautious about people. I've been tested in the last year with a few ladies and have had to speak my peace. It's caused tension and I hate that. I'm not in the business of hurting people. But I don't want toxic relationships in my life. Those of you that really know me, know that I have handful at home. Being with my friends is my escape and having fun. I value all my friendships, but sometimes life isn't perfect and I can't be everyones friend.

I've been scrapping a lot!

Well, somebody is reading my blog! LOL!!! So I'm gonna give this a whirl again and see how much I can update. I've been going scrapbooking A LOT lately. In fact I'm at an event all weekend at Scrapbooking Daisies but I come home at night. I'll be leaving shortly. Here's a few of my favorite layouts I've done recently;
