One silly guy

Zachary is just so funny sometimes! He had to have a mohawk here but wouldn't sit still to let me get a picture of it. So I snuck around the corner and shot this one. His hair is so long and his mohawk kept falling over.

Zach had preschool today so I got to go scrapbooking shopping! Like I needed more stuff! Oasis has a ton of new stamps. I'll show a pic later of the goodies I got.

Were totally ON for NYC! I'm getting anxious and nervous. A lot to think about going across the country. My Grandma is doing much better and plans on going forsure! My cousin Danielle is flying in Friday from Seattle to visit our Grandma and since my Grandma can't drive right now because of her treatments, I offered to get Danielle and take her out there. It should be a fun day, even though it's supposed to be over 100!

A Fabulous Find

What a busy weekend! My MOMS club garage sale was a huge success. I worked the garage sale Saturday morning at 6:30 a.m. until 9:30. I'm not a morning person at all. I came straight home and took a nap. Austin had a soccer game at 2:45 and did really well. He's becoming more & more confident in his ability to play.

The Dixie Chicks concert tickets went on sale Saturday and because I waited, I now don't have such a great seat. When I first checked I would have been practically front row, now I'm up above but still close. I cannot wait until November 24th!

Ok, the fabulous find........I cropped Sunday at the Red Bee and while I was cropping I looked up and noticed their die cut spread.......OMG they have scalloped circles and squares! I know this seems silly to be excited about, but I almost order a whole bunch from Paper Source and would have spent a ton! Now I got to use my own paper (mostly scraps) and pick out how many I want of each! The simple things that make me happy. I also got a lot of layouts done which doesn't always happen. Now for the semi-bad news. My Grandma. She has been battling cancer for sometime now and has started chemotherapy again. She's very sick from it and may have to cancel going to NYC. I guess were just going to wait and see how she does over the next few weeks.

The weather was perfect today

Cool and about 70 degrees with a grey sky and a slight breeze. I loved it. What I loved even more is that I worked out hard and I went to the the Red Bee http://www.theredbee.com what a neat store! Aisle after aisle of scrapbooking stuff. Unfortunately I didn't really have enough time to shop, but managed to pick up a few goodies. I really like this new paper by Die Cuts with a View. It's the top sheet. You can't tell in the picture, but it's textured and has glitter on it! Love the card kit. Austin made one to give at a Birthday party tonight. They are open Sunday's to crop from 11am-6pm for $7!!! Defintely worth checking out.

3 weeks & counting!

Three weeks from today (Oct. 12th) I will be in New York! I can't hardly wait. If anyone knows of some "must sees", please let me know.

My very first post

Here I am! I jumped on the bandwagon and set up a blog. I've been tossing around the idea for awhile and decided to jump in. Mostly for two reasons. 1. To keep in touch with my sister in NY and my Aunt & her family in Seattle. I miss them a lot, so I thought I could keep current picks and ongoings here for them to browse and feel like they haven't missed out on anything. 2. I want to share my layouts with my friends. I love scrapbooking but don't always get to share my layouts. So I'll be posting my stuff here. I guess that's about it for now. I have to figure out to post a profile and pics now.
